For guests who are looking for an ideal location for personal exploration of Tuscany, they will find lavishly restored apartments in Nittardi, different in size and variously furnished. The short distances to Florence (38 km) and Siena (28 km) make it easy to reach the many places of historical interest in Tuscany. 

The five stylishly furnished apartments belong to two estate residences: Casa Padronale, the main house with the tower; and the farmhouse Casanuova, two kilometres away, among the vineyards. An example is Apartment Bronzino, the picture on the left.

The Casa Padronale, the main house of the Fattoria Nittardi has been kept as far as possible in its original form. During restoration great care was taken to preserve the original structures; the front yard with fountain, the wine and oil cellars - still very much in use - and the stone baking oven, are as they all existed hundreds of years ago. Casanuova, completely restored with all modern conveniences, is a 15th century farmhouse which has a cosy, and very individual atmosphere. 

The swimming pool (picture on the right), situated between cypresses and flowers at the main house, is a delightful place to relax and refresh oneself, and can be used by guests from both houses. The bowling green in the garden, illuminated in the evening, is a favourite meeting place. Footpaths through the vineyards and woods are widely accessible. Tennis courts are also close by, and well looked after golf courses are easy to reach.
