The firm Stefania Canali came into being 1983 from recognition that interest in a different Italy was growing. My wish then was: to reveal more about the nature of the Italian philosophy of life, the Viverbene, to my adopted country Germany. At first, I opened the doors of my estate Fattoria Nittardi, to a few guests. Then I brought the Tuscan specialities that were produced there, in the heart of Chianti Classico, particularly the high class wines, to my small business in Frankfurt, Germany. In this way I could connect my personal relationship with Italy to the fascination of my customers for Tuscan culture. 

Since then Tuscany is no longer an unknown region, and the Nittardi Chianti Classico wine belongs to the best known in the world. Over the years, my initially small company developed considerably and has kept flexible to the wishes of my growing, demanding, customer requirements.
